Join our team at Lewis Cleansing as an Admin Assistant at our office in Kidderminster!

Location: Kidderminster (Meadow Mill Industrial Estate), Worcestershire.

Hours: Part-time – 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00AM - 15:00PM)

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Position Overview

We are looking for a confident Administration Assistant to join our busy office on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detailed-oriented person with excellent communication skills and the ability to think outside the box.

The role will support our staff, management team and potential applicants, contribute to the successful running of a successful office and maintain concise and accurate records, whilst delivering a high-quality service to both internal and external customers.

Although full training will be given to the successful applicant, due to the nature of the environment this role would suit someone who is able to work well in a busy and dynamic environment while thinking on their toes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain clear and concise records for all communications coming into and out of the business.
  • Confidently answer incoming telephone calls
  • Ensure all messages are relayed to the relevant person and all actions completed as required
  • Provide administration support to the management team as required
  • Log staff sickness/absence and update records in a timely manner
  • Review staff clock-ins and clock-outs
  • Monitor job applications on the online recruitment system, filtering those that are suitable and make first contact to fill vacancies
  • Send out and monitor the return of job application forms for all vacancies
  • Schedule and undertake initial informal conversations with suitable applicants
  • Arrange for all recruitment paperwork to be completed and recorded for suitable applicants
  • Refer ready applicants to Contract Manager to process and support with the onboarding process
