Qualifications

  • Supporting and/or leading a programme of quality/safety improvement.
  • Preparing and implementing governance plans.
  • Understanding operational and professional issues in an acute Trust.
  • Experience of working across professional and organisational boundaries.
  • Evidence of teaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a role model and expert nurse providing in-depth clinical knowledge.
  • Undertake clinical supervision of nursing colleagues.
  • Ensure effective use of resources.
  • Lead in strategies for delivering effective care.
  • Participate in investigations of incidents/complaints.
