Job description

Multiple vacancies for a leading firm of Accountants based in the heart of Preston.

They are currently looking to recruit Part ACA/ACCA candidates as well as qualified, experienced accountants who may be looking to increase their client-facing work.

You can expect to deal with businesses with turnovers from £10m to multi-million-pound organisations.

Duties will include:

1. Preparing annual accounts and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and LLPs.
2. Producing planning documents and draft fee budgets.
3. Preparing draft tax computations alongside the accounts work.
4. Liaising with clients in a confident and professional manner.
5. Anticipating variances from the budget and communicating this to managers in a timely manner.
6. Assisting junior staff where appropriate.
7. Preparing draft VAT returns.
8. Analysing data and producing accurate reports.
