A well-respected, small accountancy firm in Bolton is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their close-knit team. The Role

This is a varied role with plenty of responsibility. You’ll take ownership of your own portfolio and have a direct line to the partners. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Producing tax returns (personal and corporate)
  • Managing VAT returns and bookkeeping work
  • Helping clients with day-to-day queries and offering practical advice
  • Assisting with workflow and supporting junior staff as needed
What They’re Looking For
  • Solid experience in general practice (minimum 3–5 years)
  • AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience
  • Confident preparing accounts and tax returns with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills — both written and face-to-face
  • Someone who enjoys taking responsibility and being part of a small, collaborative team
