Job summary

A leading educational institution in the UK is seeking an Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and assist with month-end tasks. With students at the very heart of all we do, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant as part of a strong and supportive wider team.

Lancaster University Students’ Union is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The charity wholly owns two trading subsidiaries; LUSU Housing Ltd and LUSU Services Co. Ltd.

Your role will involve the day-to-day processing of financial transactions and responding to finance related queries. You will also be responsible for assigned month end tasks including certain balance sheet reconciliations.

You will have excellent IT and communication skills as well as strong organisational skills and will be expected to demonstrate an ability to work flexibly on individual tasks and as part of a team.
