Our client based in Nottingham is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their high-energy team based in Nottingham. This position is paying £25-30k (DOE), and requires 5 days on-site per week. Standard working hours are 9am-5.30pm, however they can offer flexible working arrangements as well as excellent benefits.

What you’ll do:

As an Accounts Assistant based in Nottingham, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Your responsibilities centre around managing both accounts payable and receivable processes, performing daily reporting tasks, handling customer orders and refunds with sensitivity, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. You will work collaboratively within a close-knit team that values open communication and shared success. The role offers an opportunity to build strong inter‑personal relationships while developing your technical expertise in accounting, all within a framework that supports a healthy work‑life balance.

  • You will manage accounts payable processes by accurately recording supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.
