Overview

RG Consultancy are working with a reputable business based in Newton-Le-Willows, near Warrington who are looking for a strong accounts administrator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is reporting into the financial director and will be joining a team of 3 within the department.

Job Purpose: The Accounts Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the finance and office teams, assisting with accounting duties to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare and manage CIS invoices
  • Assist with month end journals
  • Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
  • Order and manage office supplies, including stationery etc
  • Provide general office support as required
Person Specification
  • Experience working in an SME environment is essential
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Working Hours
  • 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility on start and finish times
