Artis Accountancy and Finance are working with a successful and growing business to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering exposure across the full transactional finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control. It\'s an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and take on responsibility in a supportive finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements and deal with supplier queries
  • Raise sales invoices, allocate cash, and reconcile customer accounts
  • Play an active role in credit control by chasing overdue debts and building strong relationships with customers
  • Support month-end tasks such as reconciliations, journal postings, and reporting; work closely with colleagues across the wider finance function
