Accounts Assistant - Coventry (On-Site)

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Handling end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
  • Processing invoices, credit notes, payments, receipts, and supplier reconciliations.
  • Supporting credit control activity, including chasing outstanding debt professionally.
  • Managing the purchase ledger inbox and resolving supplier queries.
  • Assisting with month‑end tasks such as journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity within the accounting system.
  • Supporting broader finance administration and ad‑hoc tasks within the team.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant, AP, AR, or transactional finance role.
  • Confidence handling both payables and receivables responsibilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good Excel ability and familiarity with modern accounting software (Sage 200 experience is a bonus).
  • A proactive, helpful approach and willingness to support the wider team.
