A local government authority in Essex is looking for a full-time Accounting Technician to provide financial analysis and support forecasting and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate must hold an AAT Level 4 qualification and possess relevant financial experience, including financial reporting and budget preparation. Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade 3 - SCP Range 9- 12 - £27,254- £28,598 per annum
Location: Castle Point, Council Offices, Benfleet

Previous practical experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, and supporting year‑end accounts is essential. Experience in business case development and capital programme support is desirable.
