A leading defence technology company in Glasgow seeks a Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of various projects. The role involves monitoring project expenditure, updating financial forecasts, and supporting Programme Managers. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, proficient in project accounting and able to work with ERP systems, particularly Oracle. Thales UK currently have an exciting opportunity for Project Accountant to join OME UK. The OME business includes a wide and varied portfolio of products and projects including complex product development, systems integration, product manufacturing and service support projects. The role will support objectives of the overall Optronics & Missile Electronics (OME UK) business but will take responsibility for a portfolio of projects, primarily across the Sea, Air and Land sectors. Where appropriate the Project Accountant will become the primary financial contact for those projects and become a key member of those project delivery teams. On larger and more complex projects the Project Accountant will support the relevant Business Controller.
