A leading global publishing company is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their Global Accounting Team in Colchester. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring balance sheet integrity, and collaborating with team members. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with excellent Excel skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. The position supports a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of three in-person days per week.
This Accountant role offers you the opportunity to be at the heart of our Global Accounting Team where your expertise will drive timely accurate financial reporting and maintain the highest standards of balance sheet integrity.
You’ll help deliver exceptional value to key business partners and group finance through strategic collaboration, build meaningful relationships with team members and business counterparts and take ownership of critical financial processes that directly impact our success.
We’re looking for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment committed to excellence in customer service and colleague support. You’ll ensure seamless adherence to company policies while consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding service expectations for our valued Taylor & Francis customers and team members.
We believe that great things happen when people connect face‑to‑face. That’s why we work in‑person with each other or with customers and partners three days a week or more. When you’re not spending time together in one of our offices or other workplaces like at conference, you get the flexibility and support to work from home or remotely.
The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our offices to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in‑person time in our office in Colchester.
