If you love great design, big ideas, brilliant people, and the buzz of growing a brand people genuinely adore – we have the role for you!

Our client is a long-established, proudly independent greeting card publisher, known for iconic humour, bold design, and celebrating artistic talent from across the globe. They are looking for a talented and driven Business Development & Account Manager to help grow their brand even further. You’ll be key member of the business, building relationships with retailers, sales agents, and partners, whilst also spotting new opportunities within the market.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a loved and respected name in the industry, work with fantastic retailers both here in the UK & internationally, and play a key role in shaping the next chapter of their story.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Drive Sales & Spot Opportunities – You’ll have a sharp sense of where their products should be, and the confidence to connect with new retailers and open fresh business channels
  • Build Brilliant Customer Relationships – From independent shops to national accounts, you’ll ensure customers love working with the brand, through great communication, reliability and genuine enthusiasm for what you do
  • Collaborate & Champion the Brand – Working closely with sales agents and the wider team, you’ll help steer new opportunities and ensure their collections reach the right audiences
  • Become a Product Expert – Getting under the skin of their ranges, understanding what sets them apart in the industry, and helping ensure their products stay fresh, relevant, and aligned with market trends
  • Reporting, Forecasting & Commercial Strategy – From account updates to market insights, you’ll help this brand stay one step ahead, sharing valuable information that supports growth and planning throughout the year
  • Lead Contract & Pricing Conversations – Taking the lead on negotiations, ensuring commercial success while nurturing strong, long-lasting customer partnerships
  • Stay Ahead of the Market – Keeping your ear to the ground on industry trends, competitor activity and new opportunities, feeding insights back to the team so they remain ahead of the curve
You’ll bring…
  • Solid Account Management and Business Development experience in the greeting card, gifting, or similar industry (B2B)
  • A strong track record managing key accounts and meeting sales targets
  • First-class communication and negotiation skills, a great relationship builder
  • Experience representing brands at trade shows
  • A natural eye for design and an interest in trends
  • Fantastic organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • And finally… a great sense of humour! They work hard, but we definitely don’t take ourselves too seriously.
