We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial & Corporate team at Marsh. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least 3 days a week in the office.

The role : Account Handler / Client Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our London Branch in our Commercial or Corporate Team as a Client Advisor. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial or corporate insurance account handling looking to join an established market‑leading insurance broker.

Within your role you'll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of insurance products.

We will rely on you to :
  • Be present and collaborative with Marsh Client Executives and wider service team regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals
  • Request and review underwriting information on behalf of C&C clients and understand their requirements
  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team
  • Utilize Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers
  • Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals
  • Produce and/or request insurer documentation
  • Strive to assist branch New Business and Expanded Services targets
  • Manage all day‑to‑day queries, renewals amendments and mid‑term adjustments
  • Serve as a client contact for day‑to‑day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with client prospects, client teams and producers to provide best‑in‑class service and drive growth
What you need to have :
  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products or experience within other areas of insurance (particularly Property & Casualty)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
  • A good awareness of clients' business issues, insurance programmes and service plans
  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
  • Articulate with strong client‑facing and stakeholder management abilities
