Job summary

A clinical trial solutions provider in the UK seeks an Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account management plans in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the life sciences industry, a proven track record in sales, and experience with SaaS solutions. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned territory and accounts
  • Attain all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory
  • Represent Medidata consistently with company principles and ethics
  • Coordinate resources within sales and other departments
  • Maintain and update account and opportunity data within company systems, including Salesforce.com
  • Use a consultative approach to achieve positive outcomes for clients
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the life sciences industry, ideally within clinical and/or R&D
  • Consistent track record of being a trusted advisor within nominated accounts
  • Ability to orchestrate and manage complex sales opportunities
  • Track record of exceeding sales and account targets
  • Experience with SaaS/application software
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Relevant successful experience
Compensation & Benefits

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
