Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Account Manager or Account Director.
  • Experience in Software/SaaS sales, preferably in Retail or eCommerce.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Overview

Account Director - Software for Retail/eCommerce

Salary: 50k-60k basic, 100k OTE

Hybrid working, Manchester office 2x per week

This is an opportunity to work for an award-winning Manchester software start up business that has received substantial financial backing and is projected to double in size this year.

This is a Senior Sales role vacancy, taking responsibility for a collection of key accounts, mostly made up of retailers and eCommerce businesses.

You will be responsible for high quality customer service, retaining these accounts whilst finding opportunities for additional sales and revenue growth.

You will be selling the company\’s own proprietary software, a customer experience tool.

The role will involve hybrid working, with 2 days in their Manchester office.

To be considered for the role, we are looking for the following experience:

Responsibilities
  • Senior Sales role responsible for a collection of key accounts, mostly retailers and eCommerce businesses.
  • Provide high quality customer service, retain these accounts while finding opportunities for additional sales and revenue growth.
  • Sell the company’s own proprietary software, a customer experience tool.
  • Operate with a hybrid working model, with 2 days in the Manchester office.
Qualifications
  • Account Manager or Account Director experience (min of 3 years) in Software/SaaS sales. Could consider Customer Success backgrounds but MUST have had responsibility for revenue growth (upsell).
  • Software sales experience, ideally into Retail, eCommerce, FMCG environments
  • Held targeted sales roles, can evidence revenue target achivement and growing key accounts.
  • Will have experience with Account planning, customer QBRs, project management and customer onboarding
  • Greater Manchester based, comfortable with hybrid/office working
