About the role
Our engagement with Google began in 2012 and launched our journey of delivery to mega scale datacentres in Europe with the award of CxA roles for LPP2 and GBL2A&B in Finland and Belgium respectively. We have delivered services to Google every working day since then with appointments for both project and programme level scopes. Google are among our top tear key clients in respect of ongoing and potential revenue, corporate profile and staff opportunity for development.
HDR are currently engaged in several programme level scopes plus preconstruction activities for a project in The Netherlands. Our record of successful delivery at three major campuses three European campuses, puts us in a strong position to secure ongoing work at those campuses as well as new developments across Europe.
Primary Objective
The primary objective of the Account Director is to see that the processes involved in the commissioning of engineering services systems have been diligently and accurately planned, managed, executed, recorded and reported to our client. To maintain extensive day to day contact with the client senior team including Project Managers, local and Regional Commissioning Managers, providing status updates as required - at least on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities
Profile
Candidates will be experienced Building Services Engineers with a particular interest and/or skill set in commissioning. This could be either by direct experience of setting systems to work, or by managing the process in working for a contractor or competitor. Candidates will be expected to have a high level of technical competence in one or more of the following areas:
Preferred Qualifications
Professional qualifications are a benefit but not a prerequisite. Experience (technical and managerial), tact, diplomacy and good organisational skills are considered essential. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
