Job description
Overview

We are seeking to appoint a new Academic Programme Assistant to support our Genomic Medicine and Statistics DPhil programmes with general course administration. Within this role, you will provide the highest level of support for all its current and future educational offerings including DPhil and MSc programmes, short courses and summer schools. The team supports existing programmes as well as the development of new courses. The Academic Programmes Assistant is an important role in supporting the administrative aspects of the NDM academic activities.

Responsibilities
  • You will provide support with all aspects of teaching delivery in the NDM commensurate with the world leading nature of the Department’s activity and reputation.
  • You will work under the supervision of the Academic Programmes Officer, while supporting one of the NDM academic programmes, you will work together with the academic team delivering the course: this may be: Course Directors, Course Co-Directors and Module Leads, Directors of Graduate Studies, Assistant Directors of Graduate Studies, lecturers, teachers and supervisors.
Qualifications
  • It is essential that you have previous administrative experience, with excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organisational skills. You will have demonstrable ability to collect, collate, store and disseminate information in accordance with GDPR regulations and excellent attention to detail.

Details
