Responsibilities

  • Operate a 360 excavator for excavation tasks.
  • Dig trenches and foundations according to plans.
  • Load and unload materials as required.
  • Maintain the excavator and ensure proper operation.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with team for project progress.
  • Prepare the site for excavation work.
  • Participate in additional work when excavator tasks are not available.
  • Read and interpret construction blueprints.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks before use.

Excavator Operator
The Role

To operate/carry out all relevant duties in excavator driving and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating a 360 excavator
  • Digging trenches, foundations, and other excavation work
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Ensuring that the excavator is properly maintained
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that arise
  • Communicating with other operators, contractors, and clients to ensure the project is on track
  • Setting up and preparing the site for excavation work
  • Engage with the General foreman and expected to take responsibility to participate in other works if no excavator work is available
  • Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
  • Conducting pre-operational checks on the excavator
