Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-ton rigid vehicle with a mounted Moffett forklift
• Load and unload goods at various customer sites across the UK
• Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are compliant with health and safety standards
• Complete delivery paperwork, electronic POD’s and digital logs accurately and promptly
• Maintain good communication with Contracts Manager and customers
• Stay overnight in the vehicle as per the weekly schedule (nights out required)

Essential Criteria

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Moffett licence/certification (RTITB or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Flexibility to stay away from home during the working week
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
