11313 - 20 hour - Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – Fixed Term 6-month Contract

We are looking to recruit a 20-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed term contract to work at our 510-branch located at Cleator Moor Health Centre, Birks Road, CA25 5HP.

Shift Pattern

• Monday 08:30-13:30
• Tuesday 08:30-13:30
• Thursday 08:30-13:30
• Friday 08:30-13:30

While working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
• Assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
• Work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Provide high standard of customer service and work as part of a well‑established team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
