11263 – 40 hour - Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term 8‑month contract to work at our 468‑branch located at 36-38 Market Place, Heywood, OL10 4NL.

Shift Pattern
  • Monday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
  • Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, with specific responsibility for supporting the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
  • Receive prescriptions and hand out prescription items, and assist with ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.
  • Work as part of a well‑established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
  • Maintain great people skills which are paramount to this role.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services (essential).
  • Strong planning, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent people skills.
