Overview

Axcis Education is working with a welcoming primary school in South East London to recruit a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant.

Location

Lewisham, South East London

Start Date

January 2026

Contract

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hours

8:45am – 3:45pm

Role
  • Providing 1:1 support tailored to the child’s individual needs
  • Supporting learning, communication, and emotional development
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Implementing personalised strategies to support progress and engagement
Ideal Candidate
  • Has previous Primary SEND experience
  • Is confident supporting pupils working below age-related expectations
  • Is patient, nurturing, and committed to inclusive education
  • Can work full-time, 5 days per week
