Job summary

A supportive education provider in Tendring is seeking a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with a college-aged student facing ASD and mental health challenges. This rewarding role involves helping the student engage in hobbies, build confidence, and cultivate independence and emotional stability. The ideal candidate should have experience with ASD, be empathetic, and possess a calm demeanor. This is a Monday to Friday role, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and requires access to a vehicle for local travel.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with ASD is highly desirable.
• Understanding of mental health needs, especially eating disorders and anxiety is essential.
