GSL Education are looking for a committed and nurturing 1:1Learning Support Assistant to join a well regarded primary school in Harlow, supporting a child with Special Educational Needs.

This position is to start in January 2026 on a long term, full time basis.

The Role

Provide individualised 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with SEN, helping them feel secure, understood and ready to learn

Adapt activities and resources to meet the child’s individual needs

Encourage emotional regulation, independence and confidence

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team

Support the child through both structured learning and play-based activities

Help create a warm, consistent and inclusive learning environment

Monitor progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents

About You
