A reputable educational staffing agency is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs in Harlow. GSL Education are looking for a committed and nurturing 1:1Learning Support Assistant to join a well regarded primary school in Harlow, supporting a child with Special Educational Needs.
This position is to start in January 2026 on a long term, full time basis.

Provide individualised 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with SEN, helping them feel secure, understood and ready to learn
Adapt activities and resources to meet the child’s individual needs
Encourage emotional regulation, independence and confidence
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team
Support the child through both structured learning and play-based activities
Help create a warm, consistent and inclusive learning environment
Monitor progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents
We would love to hear from you if you are:
Experienced supporting children with SEN (ASD experience highly desirable)
Calm, patient, and able to build a trusting relationship with one child
Passionate about helping young learners access education in a positive way
Reliable, dedicated and enthusiastic
Able to follow guidance but also use initiative when needed
Available full time from January for a long-term placement
Long term, stable role in a friendly and supportive school
Dedicated consultant offering ongoing support
Competitive daily pay rates - fortnightly pay
