This specialist school needs a 1:1 Behavioural Support Assistant who can stay calm under pressure and respond thoughtfully to challenging moments.

You’ll support one pupil across the school day, helping them regulate emotions and access learning safely.

Ideal for someone with experience in SEND, SEMH, care, or youth work, or someone ready to step into that space.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting one pupil on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day

  • Helping them regulate emotions and manage behaviour in a positive, supportive way

  • Using clear boundaries, consistency, and encouragement

  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to keep support joined up
