Description du poste
⌘ About Timeleft

TimeLeft is reimagining how people meet. We create immersive social experiences that help people break out of their routines and connect in the real world. Our platform has grown rapidly across Europe, and we’re now expanding globally. It’s an exciting time to join as we scale, experiment, and build the data foundation that will power our next stage of growth.

⌘ The Role

We are looking for VP Data who will report directly to CEO and help us build the analytics engine that powers every key decision at Timeleft — across marketing, revenue, finance, product, and operations.

You will strengthen the foundations already built over the past year and transform them into scalable systems, models, and processes capable of carrying Timeleft from €15M to €100M+.

Lead and elevate our data engineering and analytics teams to make Timeleft a world-class, truly data-driven company — one with absolute clarity, consistency, and trust in every metric.

⌘ Expected 6-12 months outcome
  • Own the analytics tracking architecture end-to-end — ensuring clean, reliable, and consistent data across all funnels.
  • Deliver a trusted, stable, automated dashboard for marketing, revenue, finance, product, and operations.
  • Build and scale Timeleft’s experimentation framework (A/B, incrementality, attribution), enabling Product, Ops, and Growth to make rapid, evidence-based decisions.
  • Establish clear QA processes together with Engineering to guarantee data integrity at source.
  • Build data pipelines and revenue models that eliminate inconsistencies and improve forecasting.
  • Lead an analytics team of 3–5 analysts.
  • Create a company-wide metric glossary to eliminate ambiguity.
  • Implement incrementality measurement and support paid marketing scale.
  • Partner with Product & Finance to improve retention, LTV, pricing, payback windows, and revenue accuracy.
  • Deliver weekly insights and recommendations that directly influence roadmap, growth strategy, and revenue generation.
  • Develop the first version of a Revenue Intelligence system: predictive NGTV, retention drivers, pricing elasticity, and repeat conversion models.
⌘ Competencies
  • Has scaled analytics in a consumer tech company from €15M → €50M+.
  • Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, BI, retention/LTV analysis, attribution, and forecasting.
  • Strong revenue strategy mindset: understands monetisation, pricing, payback logic, and CAC/LTV trade-offs.
  • Able to turn insights into concrete revenue recommendations (pricing, packaging, cohorts, lifecycle, GTM).
  • Strong operator: improves systems, not just dashboards.
  • Outstanding communicator: simplifies complexity and influences product, marketing, and finance decisions.
  • Experienced leading analysts and building a high-performance, data-driven culture.
  • Comfortable working closely with founder-led CEOs in fast, high-intensity environments — with the ambition to grow into broader revenue leadership (CRO path).
⌘ What’s in it for you?
  • Key leadership role at the core of Timeleft’s growth and revenue strategy, reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Unique opportunity to build and scale the data & analytics engine.
  • International exposure in a fast-scaling, multi-market consumer tech company.
  • Strong impact on monetization, pricing, LTV, retention, and marketing efficiency.
  • Employee stock options.
  • Take part in Timeleft dinners and experience our mission firsthand—help fight loneliness in big cities.
⌘ Recruitment process
  • Screening Interview (30 min) - A conversation with Talent Acquisition Lead to discuss your experience, career goals, and how they align with our mission at Timeleft.
  • Experience Interview (15-30 min) - A conversation with the CEO to assess cultural fit and strategic alignment.
  • Case Study
  • Final Interview (1h) - An in-depth discussion with CEO and VP Product focusing on your case study, relevant experience, key skills, and how you approach complex challenges.
