As a VIE, you join the Imaging division's EWS (Electrical Wafer Sort) Front End Operation test team based in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. The division test and ship large volumes (>300k wafers/year) of image sensors. ST Singapore site (IMG) has a total of ~100 people from various departments/groups (FEM/design/silicon/app/packaging/optical/BE. The EWS FE Operation team is made up of 7 Engineers and the team is called ‘ONE team’ family with the DNA of camaraderie for the success of the team (individually and team as overall), and eventually to achieve company’s objectives/success.).
You will be trained in EWS FE operation and their industrial testing, with a specific focus on mass production enablement, EWS testing and qualification report/analysis, yield improvement, and flow/process optimizations of Imaging products in Singapore (photonics/ALS/TOF, and Imager/sensors).
You will participate in product EWS mass production enablement through qualification, data analysis, problem solving and method improvement. For example, your role will be to lead a project/activity aimed in enabling the industrialization of imaging products (EWS data collection, report/analysis and qualification), and ensuring supply/capacity/output through MRB disposition with cross functional teams from Grenoble, Singapore, Edinburgh, and Taiwan. To achieve this, you will need to understand the EWS test processes, perform the statistical analysis of data and images and finally make recommendations for enabling test cells in prod. It also includes driving/reviewing all NC/SBL lots for MRB disposition to meet supply/output needs without jeopardizing quality.
This two-year experience will allow you to develop extensive knowledge of professions related to the semiconductor industry specifically for EWS/FE operation, to master EW test flows and in particular the industrial issues from EWS/FE operation of image sensors, and to develop know-how in the analysis of large volumes of data.
