You will be in charge of leading directing and guiding all aspects of Food & Beverage (F&B) vision and operations to achieve our objectives in terms of reputational financial operational and ESG performance. You will provide support and advice to VPOs AGMs and GMs to maximize F&B financial and non-financial performance. You will give advice and recommendations to the Excom on F&B strategy and priorities. You will work very closely with brand teams and procurement in aligning and achieving the ambitions.

You will be based if possible in Paris and will report to our Chief Operating Officer for Sofitel Sofitel Legend MGallery & Emblems. According to the profile of the candidate the location can be subject to discussion.

Here are the main missions you will be performing :
  • Direct Management of a team of 3 F&B experts and indirect leadership of F&B Managers Chefs and Mixologist in our network of over 240 hotels.
  • Definition of the Food Beverage & Entertainment strategy for Sofitel Sofitel Legend MGallery & Emblems hotels worldwide in close collaboration with brand teams and procurement.
  • Assist VPOs AGMs GMs to identify opportunities to maximize F&B returns regarding revenue generation operational efficiency and space utilization
  • Pre-Opening Support in accordance with agreed critical path.
  • Critical support to development team in all pitches to new potential owners as well as D&TS teams on potential and existing projects.
  • Creation and deployment of locally adapted F&B concepts for our hotels with a strong focus on ROI.
  • Lead strategic deployments supporting the brand elevation and positioning including as examples La Haute Croissanterie and World Cocktail Month .
  • Support our CSR ambitions in regards to food waste procurement strategies etc.
  • Represent the Group on F&B matters at regional events and industry advisory groups.
  • Implement an approval system for F&B and Executive chef recruitment.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role
  • You are a leader with a track record of at least 10 / 15 years in Food & Beverage operations with a regional scope.
  • You are fluent in written and oral English and ideally in French.
  • You are able to manage complexity and operate with a high level of autonomy.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to lead and drive outcomes of anticipating issues to implement creative solutions in particular through collaborative approach. You demonstrate an inspiring and motivating leadership. You are collaborative results driven and highly organized with a strong commercial & financial acumen.
