Chiesi Corporate Functions

At Chiesi, the Corporate Functions serve as drive and support for the Group’s business operations. Encompassing key areas such as Global Finance, Global Procurement, Global ICT, Global Human Resources, Global Legal, Compliance & IP, and Global Communications & Public Affairs, these functions ensure consistency, efficiency, and operational integrity.

Complementing these functions, the Transformation Office is responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment of the organization. It promotes an integrated, digital, and customer-centric approach, supporting growth, efficiency, and value creation in an increasingly data-driven world. The Transformation Office ensures coherence between vision and execution, acting as a catalyst for change across the entire organization.

The Strategy, Sustainability & Growth Department is also part of the Corporate Functions. It includes areas such as Global Strategy, SV&S and Business Development, Competitive Intelligence, and other key capabilities. It is accountable for defining the ‘One Chiesi’ Strategy and allocating resources to create long-term, sustainable, shared value for the Group and its stakeholders.

This is what you will do

Joining the Global Tax Team, you will support the company’s financial development and growth by contributing to effective and compliant transfer pricing strategies in a dynamic, international environment.

You will be responsible for

Under the supervision of the Head of Transfer Pricing (TP):

  • TP remuneration and TP adjustment processes. In particular the management of
    • Group target setting
    • Group TP adjustment process: (ii.a) supervising P&L by transaction workflows from Affiliates, challenging their allocations and responsiveness; (ii.b) managing the internal auditor activities together with Affiliates coordination to get audit opinion within Group deadlines;
    • I/C flows: mark-up/remuneration assessment and transfer price impacts on IC agreement supervising also the workflows from Affiliates related to Year End TP list publication and acknowledgment letter;
  • BAPA/APA: Support in the management of the compliance requirements of the existing Agreements with Tax Authorities and process for new ones;
  • Group TP calendar and TP documentation: support to the preparation of
    • Group Master File
    • Country by Country Report (CbCR)
    • Pillar II report
    • Intercompany Matching files

(i) legislation update’s impacts on Chiesi case; (ii) affiliates data and qualitative info collection (iii) Consultant coordination both for review and other activities (iv) timelines respect for the filing of the report for national/international legislation (v) possible IT evolutions;

  • TP Committee decisions: advancing proposals and relevant documentary set, while setting meeting and keeping records thereof;
  • Support on special projects activities, helping in defining the most appropriate pricing or during set-up of new affiliates.
  • In close cooperation with HR (Int’l Mobility), Legal and M&A/Int’l Tax Lead, support the I/C process on the Group International Mobility management and provide the necessary information for Tax Control Framework purposes.
  • Teams up with Int’l & M&A Leads and Tax Italy colleagues on cross-functional tasks and projects.
You will need to have
  • Degree in Economics or Law
  • At least 3/4 years in other relevant tax positions or in controlling role, with exposure to Tax/TP concepts
  • Fluent in English, good command of Italian will be considered a plus
  • Organizational skills
  • Proactivity
We would prefer for you to have
  • Technical in-depth knowledge of the main TP topics
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of controlling (e.g., allocations, KPIs etc.)
  • Familiarity with main international tax topics
Location

The position is based in Parma, with the possibility of remote work.

Availability to travel: up to 10%
