The Data Security team is part of the Cloud Protection and Licensing (CPL) business line of the DIS Global Business Unit. The ultimate goal of this team is to build the best product suite of data-centric security products and solutions that unify data discovery, protection and control in one platform. We are seeking a Security Expert to join our team; this role contributes to the overall security posture of the Data Security product suite.

Trade Compliance Manager – Bangalore, India
Responsibilities
- Contribute to development and deployment of the entity’s Trade Compliance program and support transformation paths to evolve the role.
- Provide expertise to relevant functions by analyzing applicable constraints, alertting risks, and proposing compliant solutions.
- Support business priorities by assessing requirements for classification of supplies and technologies, license applications for import/export, and screening stakeholders.
- Analyze regulatory constraints and risks on each transaction; share findings with the Legal Director and the BL’s Trade Compliance Manager to support strategy and independently address constraints.
- Contribute to relations with competent authorities and stakeholders; act as the interface with national and international supervisory authorities as appropriate.
- Ensure traceability of operations in line with regulations (contracts, orders, exports, transfers) and consolidate reports for authorities.
- Identify, plan and conduct necessary training and awareness activities; inform the Legal Director or BL’s Trade Compliance Manager of any suspected non-compliance.
- Provide data and participate in internal and external Trade Compliance audits within scope.
- Maintain effective internal and external communications with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Offers/Projects, Procurement, Finance, HR, Security, Logistics, Customs, Information Systems).
Qualifications
- Graduate/Master/MBA/Law/Engineer/Trade
- 3-5 years of experience in Trade Compliance
- Good command of key export control regulations, economic sanctions, and restrictive measures
- Experience filing license applications
- Familiarity with Trade Compliance IT solutions (ERP, screening)
- Proficiency in English (working language)
- Rigor, autonomy, responsiveness, initiative; team spirit; strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage stress; strong research, synthesis, organizational and methodological skills
