An innovative aerospace firm in Sion is seeking an engineer to manage test activities related to electric propulsion systems. You will collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and ensure the safety of flight testing. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree and possess experience in electronics testing. Fluency in English is required, with French as a plus.
As the technological spin-off of Solar Impulse, the first electric airplane to fly around the world, the mission of H55, is to make aviation clean, safe, and affordable. and competencies lie in developing propulsion and energy storage solutions which are modular, lightweight, and certifiable.
Having integrated and flown 4 electric airplanes, the Swiss start-up has been selected by Pratt & Whitney Canada to provide the battery pack for its regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator. This recent announcement is a further illustration of H55’s position as a major enabler in the electric commuter market.

The position will be based in the H55’s headquarters in Sion, Switzerland.
This role will report to the Head of Aircraft Integration & Testing, and is primarily focused on the development of defining test activities, and strategies, to enable successful product demonstration (V&V) of the Electric propulsion system (at different periods of time you can be working with different components of the system).
