A leading energy solutions provider in Île-de-France is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead initiatives in the heat-intensive industry. You will operate under the commercial team, focusing on prospecting new clients and managing key accounts to aid in the decarbonisation of the industry. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of relevant experience coupled with strong negotiation skills and fluency in both French and English. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a net-zero economy.

Description du poste

As a Technical Sales Manager you will focus on this emerging market, where Flexcity France aims to be a market leader. You will have a direct impact in the decarbonisation of our industry towards a net-zero economy.

You will be part of our commercial team, under the Head of Growth, and your role is divided in :

  • Prospection - 70%
  • Extend our portfolio of new customers in France by prospecting, negotiating and signing contracts in multiple heat-intensive industries.
  • Manage the full customer journey, from the lead generation to a successful onboarding following contract signature.
  • Represent Flexcity in events including conferences, seminars, workshops.
  • Key Account Management - 15%
  • Manage the relationship of our key accounts to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction, from signature to operation including onboarding.
  • Work closely with the portfolio team to identify and close cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Build a proximity with key accounts by ensuring frequent touchpoints or face to face visits.
  • Pipeline Management and reporting- 15%
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and pipeline status in the CRM.
  • Be the voice of the customer by acting as the primary liaison between the market and our internal teams. Gather, synthesize, and communicate customer feedback internally.
  • Be in charge of the entire commercial process of your territory , from lead generation towards onboarding of the assets into our portfolio
Hard Skills
  • Solid network and experience (5+ years) in the heat-intensive industry (steam and / or hot water production), with ability to discuss with plant and energy managers within utilities, industrial companies or intensive electricity or heat consumers
  • Strong commercial experience in B2B in complex sales and environment track record in the industrial sector is an advantage
  • Fluent in French (written and verbal) and English
  • MSc Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
