Technical Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition

Location: St-Malo, Brittany, France - Hybrid · Full-time

Role Overview

Reporting to the Western Europe Area Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial growth of specialty products, working closely with clients across the animal nutrition industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand the specialty product portfolio within your region.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence (industry trends, technical and competitive insights, regulatory changes, opportunities, risks, growth prospects) to support strategic recommendations for Marketing & Innovation.
  • Understand client needs and challenges to deliver tailored product solutions.
  • Serve as the technical expert for your region, supporting and training sales teams to enhance their technical knowledge.
  • Negotiate agreements and oversee their implementation.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth order processing and client service.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of activities and market data in the company CRM.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in animal production or related field, with a passion for the sector.
  • At least 6 years of commercial experience in animal nutrition.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Skilled negotiator with persuasive abilities.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
