Here is a description of the role we are opening:

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Needs Assessment: Collaborate with Sales Managers and engage with prospective medical device clients to understand their technical requirements, product specifications, and development/manufacturing challenges

  • Solution Translation & Presentation: Convert complex customer demands into clear technical solutions leveraging our internal CDMO capabilities. Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals, highlighting our value proposition

  • Internal Technical Advocacy: Represent client technical requirements during internal discussions, technical reviews, and decision-making processes to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs.

  • Technical Due Diligence & Validation: Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions

  • Deal Support & Closure: Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, addressing client technical queries, overcome objections, and support Sales Manager to close deals

  • Feedback Loop: Capture and communicate market and customer technical trends to internal teams to inform future capability development and service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or Product Development role within the Medical Device industry, preferrably within a CDMO environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field

  • Strong understanding of medical device development, manufacturing process, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations)

  • Very good ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence cross-functional teams

  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to contribute to sales success

  • Fluent in English English; French is a plus
