A deep tech startup is seeking a Technical Sales Development Representative to drive sales and partnerships in the food, beverage, and pharma sectors. The role requires managing the full sales cycle and engaging with stakeholders to promote a new microbiological testing solution. Ideal candidates possess 3-5 years of experience in diagnostics, strong communication skills, and a scientific background. Flexible work conditions are offered, including the option to work remotely from Paris.
Spore.Bio is a deeptech start-up born in 2023, building a new paradigm in the quality control systems in Food&Beverage, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutics factories.
After spending a lot of time in factories environments, we saw the pain it was to make sure products were safe. Traditional quality control has heavy constraints and long waiting times. To change that, we decided to build Spore.Bio, a new generation of microbiological testing.

Are you ready to revolutionize microbiology monitoring in factories? Spore Bio is seeking a Technical Sales Development Representative to develop our cutting‑edge pathogen detection solution. Join our dynamic team of R&D experts and product managers, and help us build the future of industrial microbiology.
Joining our Go‑to‑market team as Technical Sales Development Representative you’ll drive some of the most important commercial and strategic relationships at Spore.Bio. You’ll focus on early customers in Food and Beverage, Cosmetics, and Pharma, while also opening key partnerships across the life science ecosystem. Your work will support our mission to bring a new generation of rapid microbiology diagnostics to industrial environments.
In this role, you’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through qualification and pre‑launch commitments. You’ll engage scientific, operational, and business stakeholders in order to understand their workflows and position Spore.Bio as a high‑value solution for microbiology testing.
Your ability to build trust, navigate multi‑stakeholder conversations, and deliver a clear scientific and commercial narrative will directly contribute to our go‑to‑market success.
This role reports directly to the CEO and works hand in hand with him to build high‑impact decisions across sales, partnerships, and customer engagement.
