We currently have a vacancy for an Systems Engineer (DevOps, Linux) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Strasbourg, France. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure the IT system remains operational;
• Monitoring of POC phases when necessary on new products;
• User support for system issues;
• Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, preferably in computer science, combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Proven experience in project management;
• Experience as Linux System Engineer (Debian, RHEL, RockyLinux, Ubuntu);
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, scripting (Python/Bash) and cloud (Azure/AWS);
• Good knowledge of web hosting under Apache/nginx/Traefik;
• Good knowledge of backup, virtualization and paravirtualization, Docker Swarm, Portainer;
• Good knowledge of Puppet, Terraform, and Ansible;
• Good knowledge of Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Minio, Thanos, OpenTelemetry;
• Good knowledge of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Syslog-ng components;
• Knowledge of networking, Netfilter, Strongswan and troubleshooting;
• Knowledge of authentication/identification, SAMLv2, OpenID Connect;
• Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases;
• Monitoring of POC phases and user support for system issues;
• Excellent command of the English and French language.
