Description du poste

Within the Executive Directorate working closely with business partners the Digital Knowledge and Information Service (EXD / DKI) designs and provides secure digital solutions IT and information management services and the technologies to deliver efficient corporate services to meet business partners needs and support and enhance the OECD's global role in building knowledge, communicating with the world and interacting with governments to inform and influence policy‑making.

The Digital Infrastructure and Operations Division (DKI / DIO) groups corporate‑wide IT business relationship management, digital workplace infrastructure, operations and support services managed by EXD / DKI.

In this role you will design, build, test, document, operate and support a multi‑service systems infrastructure. Reporting to the Team Lead you will operate and support an infrastructure from the data centre to virtual machines (Windows and Linux), specific applications and Microsoft cloud (M365 and Azure). You will ensure good monitoring of the entire infrastructure, problem analysis and resolution, data centre management, server installation, removal, maintenance, patching of physical servers, virtual machines and applications, delivery of virtual machines and contribute to projects for building or upgrading new solutions. You will look for opportunities to automate tasks with PowerShell and propose process improvements. Strong technical communication and problem‑solving skills combined with a rigorous approach to aligning processes with organizational standards will be essential for success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, test, implement and ensure the continuous evolution of the organisation's IT services and infrastructure in compliance with OECD technical and security standards.
  • Automate and optimise operational processes; troubleshoot unexpected issues and propose actions to mitigate the risk of recurrence.
  • Contribute to team and role‑specific projects, be proactive, autonomous and report accordingly.
  • Liaise with other IT teams, stakeholders and vendors, contributing to governance, continual improvement and sharing best‑practices.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends, evaluate relevant new technologies, analyse their business benefit, conduct cost/benefit analysis and provide evidence‑based recommendations when appropriate.
  • Apply new techniques and trends in line with the overall objectives and risk tolerance of the OECD.
  • Participate in preparing calls for tender and assess technical bids to deliver fit‑for‑purpose, cost‑effective contracts where relevant.
  • Prepare effort and work‑breakdown estimates for resource management planning.
  • Provide and maintain technical documentation, monitor and analyse user behaviour and performance, manage monitoring alerts, support tickets and emails, provide 3rd‑level support, coordinate third‑party interventions and provide bespoke support to VIP clients.
  • Prepare and deliver operational presentations and demonstrations for peer groups and management and keep the team informed on operational and project activities.
Qualifications
  • Academic background: A university degree in IT, telecommunications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional background: 2 or more years of proven experience designing, deploying and managing server operating systems (mostly Windows Server) as well as the entire ecosystem including operational tools for systems and virtualization.
  • 3–5 years of general IT engineering experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment and managing 3rd‑party work.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferable.
  • Technical tools: PowerShell, Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Hyper‑V, System Center Suite, Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services, Exchange, SharePoint, IIS, Entra ID, Microsoft 365), identity management and authentication technologies, modern authentication protocols (AD FS, Entra ID), Microsoft Azure, Linux Red Hat, Veritas NetBackup, HPE servers and storage.
  • Languages: Fluency in one of the OECD official languages (English or French) with a commitment to reach a good working level in the other. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.

What the OECD offers

Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starts at 6717.19 EUR plus allowances based on eligibility exempt of French income tax.
