Job Title: Subsea Maintenance & Inspection (MIE) and LOF Engineer
Location: Paris, France (missions offshore are required)
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of Subsea maintenance and inspection engineering activities.
- Implementation of technical solutions for inspection and repair of Subsea assets
- Preparation of maintenance and inspection strategy for the subsea
- Onshore follow up of the life of field activities (follow up of non – conformity reports & investigation reported by FO)
- Coordination of Life of Field operations & Maintenance activities
- Life of Field spare parts and tooling management
- Provide operational technical support to SPS and SURF package activities (operational REX, assistance to install / comm / start up)
Maintenance and Inspection Engineering (MIE) activities
- Recovery data from SURF and SPS contractors, vendors, manufactures and suppliers
- Build templates for maintenance plan and global inspection. Issue the maintenance & inspection manuals
- Verification of capital, commissioning & start -up spares. Definition of operating spare parts including tools
- Perform maintainability an inspectability review based in the WSE
- Integrate deliverables into affiliate CMIMS and handover to operations
- M&I strategy to comply with integrity requirements (SECE, performance standard, functional location, critical barriers… etc)
- Handover MIE deliverables to operations
Life of Field activities
- Coordinate and perform requests to SPS contractors for all Life of Field related subjects
- Request and follow-up of tests and mobilisation/demobilisation of all equipment and tools from/to contractor’s yard prior/after any operation
- Management of SPS spare parts and tools within the perimeter of B20 LOF contracts
- Coordinate with TEPA/DT/SUB the FSV activities for B20 and ensure the issuance of FSV job requests to DT/SUB
- Operational technical support for subsea facilities operations by ensuring permanent support to B20 subsea fields
- Validate and investigate the subsea Non-Conformities (NC) reported within B20 Subsea Perimeter and propose solution to fix NC, if possible
- Review all documents (task plans, SIMOPS, HIRA…) required for any subsea maintenance or repair operation
- Ensure that all activities pertaining to a successful Subsea intervention are secured by SPS contractors
- Provide field operation installation, commissioning or start-up assistance to new projects
- Assist in the preparation of offshore commissioning / start-up procedures related to the SPs/SURF equipment
Objectives
- In the context of teamwork and in the field of operations: Promote the highest HSSE standards during Subsea operations and a 0 LTI philosophy
- Ensure the highest possible availability of subsea facilities in order to maximise production
- Share and provide COMPANY reliability analysis, optimisation and availability of equipment in line with the production objectives
- Review and comment Contract technical needs for the Life of Field contract team to implement on time in line with planning
- Ensure Block 20 subsea maintenance and inspection strategies are aligned with TEPA, HQ and international rules and standards
- Participate and update REX and recommendations for the future contract as Block 20 strategy
Required qualifications and background
- Professional experience (years): 6/10 in oil & gas industry and major deep offshore projects / fields. Large experience in subsea MIE
- Experience in similar positions (years): min 3 years with lead duties
- Level / diploma: engineer, or equivalent
- Reliability, autonomy, analytical, organisational capacity
- Language: French or English
- Good knowledge of GS or CR group
