A community service organization in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is seeking a dedicated professional to support individuals with disabilities. The role involves assisting with various community and leisure activities in a flexible environment. Applicants should have a nursing qualification and a valid driving license, as well as experience in the field. This full-time position offers a salary based on Department of Health scales, effective teamwork, and a permanent contract.
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland offers a range of residential, day, respite, assessment, and clinical services to individuals with varying degrees of intellectual disability. Many people supported have additional needs, including autism, behaviours that challenge, and physical or sensory disabilities. Services and supports are provided to over 6,500 people and their families across Counties Clare, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick, Roscommon, Tipperary, Wexford and Wat.

Working Hours:
Both posts are 75 hours a fortnight based on a 14 day/night duty roster. The successful candidates will be required to work weekends, public holidays and night duty to meet service needs. The Brothers of Charity model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.
24 days per annum. Appropriate service related leave will be granted after 5 and 10 years service respectively.
Remuneration:
Department of Health salary scales:
Staff Nurse - €37,288 x 12 increments - €53,873 per annum (pro-rata for part-time). Long Service Increment €55,477 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) is granted after 3 years on the maximum of the scale.
*Enhanced Nurse – €44,311 x 7 increments - €55,644 per annum (pro-rata for part-time). Long Service Increment €57,273 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) is granted after 3 years on the maximum of the scale.
This post is permanent, full-time and pensionable.
A probationary period of nine months from the date of appointment applies to the post.
The employment may be terminated at any time during the probationary period should the employer find that the appointee is unsuitable to continue employment. The probation period may be extended at the Employer’s discretion.
