Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering experience, ideally in regulated industries.
• Strong production expertise in AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Redis.
• Experience with Cloudflare/CDN, WAF configuration, and PCI-DSS requirements.

Responsabilités

Location: Remote - open to candidates located in Europe

Job Responsibilities

Core Infrastructure & Architecture

• Design and implement secure, multi-region AWS infrastructure (using Terraform) to ensure data residency and compliance.

• Configure Cloudflare for global CDN, DDoS protection, WAF, and edge routing.

• Ensure systems can handle extreme 10x-20x traffic spikes during peak events.

Database, Caching & Real-Time Systems

• Manage highly available multi-region RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with robust replication.

• Implement and manage Redis for real-time data and sessions.

• Design and maintainχαν zero-tolerance disaster recovery and audit logging for financial data integrity.

• Design WebSocket infrastructure for real-time betting and live data streams.

Security & Compliance

• Build foundational security (IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager) and implement defense-in-depth, including WAF rules and bot protection.

• Ensure strict compliance with multi-jurisdictional gaming regulations and PCI-DSS requirements.

CI/CD, Observability & Excellence

• Build robust CI/CD pipelines for safe, automated, zero-downtime deployments (blue-green/canary).

• Implement comprehensive monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus) and real-time alerting for system and financial health.

• Create essential runbooks, documentation, and internal tooling to drive operational excellence.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering experience, ideally in regulated industries (iGaming, fintech).

• Strong production expertise in AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Redis.

• Experience with Cloudflare/CDN, WAF configuration, and PCI-DSS requirements.

• Expertise in CI/CD, Docker/ECS, and managing real-time systems (WebSockets).

• Strong networking fundamentals and scripting skills (Bash/Python).

• Comfortable with on-call rotation and a security-first, self-directed mindset.

• Bonus Experience: Direct iGaming/s quir? platform experience, multi-region database design, or GDPR/data residency.
