WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and implement scalable secure and high-performance backend services in Java/Kotlin that power client-facing applications for trading custody and wealth management.
• Build robust APIs and microservices to support advanced dashboards analytics tools and mobile experiences.
• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers product managers and designers to deliver seamless intuitive experiences for sophisticated investors.
• Architect solutions for portfolio management trade execution settlement reporting and analytics tailored to institutional and private clients.
• Optimize backend systems for low latency high throughput and fault tolerance.
• Integrate security best practices and advanced encryption to safeguard sensitive financial data.
• Continuously improve backend performance reliability and development workflows.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Strong hands‑on experience with Kotlin in backend and distributed systems development.
• Proven expertise building scalable APIs microservices and backend platforms for complex financial or data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with cloud deployments and service‑oriented architectures.
• Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies (NATS Kafka or similar).
• Solid understanding of algorithms data structures databases and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of ledger systems is a strong plus.
• Passion for solving challenging technical and financial problems with clean maintainable code.
• Commitment to quality-driven engineering with a strong focus on testing (unit integration performance and failure recovery).
• Experience in fintech trading or wealth management platforms is a strong advantage.
