Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license; Class G or higher is an asset.
  • 3-5 years' mechanical experience on small engines and light vehicles.
  • Experience or willing to learn operation of forklift and skid steer.

Responsabilités

  • Perform troubleshooting, oil changes, and general maintenance of vehicles.
  • Repair or replace parts of basic equipment, using primarily Honda engine repair.
  • Support team members in a shop/construction yard environment.

A Day in the Life:
  • Performing a wide variety of tasks, such as troubleshooting, oil changes, general maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Repair or replace parts and components of basic equipment. Primarily Honda engine repair.
  • Minor repairs on Heavy equipment: Trucks, Trailers, Skid steers, Construction Equipment.
  • Supporting team members in a shop/construction yard environment.
What you bring:
  • Must hold a Valid Driver’s License, Class G or higher would be an asset.
  • Organized team player with a proactive, safety-oriented mind set.
  • Driven individual willing to learn and grow in a role, work efficiently alone and in a team environment.
  • Previous mechanical experience (3-5 years’) working on small engines and light vehicles.
  • Specialty tools supplied, hand tools responsibility of employee.
  • Licensed mechanic is preferred.
  • Hydraulic experience would be an asset.
  • Welding experience would be an asset.
  • Experience or willing to learn how to operate Forklift, Skid steer and or small equipment.
