The Senior Sales Engineer will provide technical pre-sales support for Allot’s potential and existing European Enterprise customers and partners.

Also, thisprofessional will work closely with the regional Enterprise Sales Director and the Territory Sales Engineer Director to deliver the region's sales targets.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Sales Engineer's activities with the territory, include;

· Product and solution presentations to customers

· Solution Technical Design and Specifications

· Support Tender and RFx responses with the sales team

· Plan and execute Proof of Concepts, trials, and demos at partner or Allot sites including all relevant documentation (HLD, LLD, TestPlan, etc.)

· Take ownership of technical relationships with customers and partners

· Partner training and updates

The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for understanding the customer’s challenges and business and for defining appropriate technical solutions, from initial contact and meetings through delivery.

Requirements :

· Experience of 5+ years within direct customer-facing High-Technology Pre-sales, especially with networking solutions.

· Proven direct customer-facing skills and experience

· Strong presentation skills and customer relations

· Excellent and proven Verbal and Written communication skills

· Ability to design network solutions for complex requirements

· Hands-on Experience with network equipment (routers, security appliances, network management tools)

· Hands-on Experience in Linux/Unix, database systems

Interpersonal skills:

· Ability to work with minimal supervision, remotely, and stay focused, while working as part of a spread-out team of technical experts.

· Self-motivated and able to technically lead a project throughout its lifecycle

· Able to liaise with all customer and partner levels including senior management in order to lead the solution development process.

Technical Skills:

· Highly technical understanding in IP networking including work with network equipment (routers, routing protocols, firewalls, VPN devices, DPI devices, network management tools)

· Technical understanding of AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud architecture (cloud certifications a plus)

· Technical or Customer training experience – an advantage

· Familiarity with Security and DDoS products and standards – and advantage

Education:

· Bachelor or MSc degree / equivalent desirable.

Other Qualifications:

· Fluent English is a must, other languages - an advantage

· Extensive travel within Europe region will be required, and occasionally in other territories.
