Job Description
As a Senior IT Buyer at 74Software you will play a key role in leading operational IT/IS & R&D tools projects. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders (IT, IS, R&D, Security, Legal, Finance) across multiple regions to ensure procurement projects are cost-effective, compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements, and aligned with business goals and procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle (from requirements to contract): sourcing, RFI/RFP, due diligence, risk assessment, shortlisting and negotiating commercial and contractual terms (SaaS, licenses, maintenance, services, hardware).
- Contract Management: contract commitment follow-up, key clauses (SLA, SOW, penalties, reversibility), DPA, security annexes, audit rights, governance …
- Compliance & responsibility: operate in line with applicable regulations (e.g., DORA for financial activities) and internal policies (Code of Conduct, Delegation Matrix, Procurement process, AI procedure).
- Supplier Relationship Management: definition of KPIs, monitoring, improvement plans, escalation management, innovation with strategic suppliers.
- Support to the Global Category Manager IT: collaborate to enhance and streamline procurement strategy for the category.
- Market intelligence & benchmarking: trends (ELA/EA, subscription vs. perpetual, BYOL, FinOps), concentration risks, competitive alternatives.
- Actively participate in the deployment of the P2P tool (Workday).
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in IT/IS procurement, including multiple complex contract negotiations (multi-country/multi-entity).
- Legal & compliance: solid understanding of different types of IT contracts (SLA/SOW, liability, penalties, IP), privacy & security (DPA), Supplier Code of Conduct and internal requirements.
- Technical/financial: strong knowledge of licensing models (subscription, ELA/EA, user-based, consumption-based), TCO, FinOps and usage optimization.
- Soft skills: seasoned negotiator, cross-functional leadership, risk awareness.
- Languages: fluent French & English.
- Tools: Excel/Power BI, Power Point.
