A government office in Paris is seeking a Security Officer to control access and supervise security at the British Embassy. You will ensure the safety of the premises while logged visitor details and monitored systems. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills, proficiency in English and French, and the ability to work varied hours. A monthly salary of €2624 gross is offered along with meal contributions.

Main purpose of the job :
The jobholder will be working as a Security Officer reporting to the Deputy Post Security Manager and the Post Security Manager.
You will be controlling access of vehicles and visitors coming to the British Embassy and conducting vehicle search. Supervising access control to our buildings.
You will escort visitors and contractors. Making sure that all security procedures are well implemented. Carry out the Locking and unlocking of the building.

This is a full time, permanent contract. The position is based on a 35-hour week. Ability to work shift patterns (including weekends, Nights and Bank holidays) and to be flexible regarding taking on extra shifts. The monthly salary is 2624€ (gross). In addition, staff receive meal contributions. Overtime payments as and when required.
All appointments are subject to professional background check and satisfactory security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to provide a copy of his/her passport or national identity card for all nationalities held, an up-to-date criminal record, two written proofs of address and two references.
