The Security Technical Design Lead plays a critical role in bringing specialized expertise in security architecture to GO Security teams (Product Security Office, Engineering Center). They ensure that complex projects from AXA GO meet security standards by participating in the definition of compliance and security technical controls for products.

Job purpose

As the GO Security Technical Design Lead, your main objectives are to:

  1. Define and maintain the technical security pattern library and knowledge base, aligned with Group Architecture, GO Security Policies, and Standard GO Cyber Defense Products.
  2. Perform architecture security reviews for large and risky projects/products supporting GO Security teams, especially the Product Security Office and GO Security Engineering Center team.

Some main topics/technologies include: Zero trust, network segregation, Public cloud (AWS & Azure), Containerization (OpenShift), Identity and Access Management services, API security, security services (A/V, EDR, SIEM…), Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration, Shadow cloud.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Owning the GO technical security pattern library and knowledge base.
  2. Evaluating the security design of architecture and threat models, including network, application, and data security measures for complex projects and products.
  3. Defining new security controls for complex products in coordination with GO Security Engineering Center and GO Cyber Defense teams, aligned with industry best practices and security policies.
  4. Providing recommendations to improve the security posture of architectures, including remediation actions and risk mitigation strategies.

The department / team

Group Operation Security (GO Security), part of AXA Group Security division, is tasked with securing AXA GO as an entity and securing GO Products delivered as a service to other AXA entities.

Candidate Profile

We seek candidates with:

  • A university degree in computer science, information security, systems architecture, or related field.
  • Significant experience in designing and evaluating security architectures.
  • Strong expertise in security architecture, including threat modeling, security kill chain, infrastructure technologies, and cloud security.
Technical Skills
  • Deep expertise in security architecture and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, services, and security tools.
  • Ability to define and assess security controls for complex solutions.
  • Strategic thinking to anticipate future needs in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Resourcefulness and analytical skills to address complex security challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
