Position Summary

The Europe Aerospace sales team is looking for a new team member to manage and develop sales accounts with a strong European focus. The product portfolio covers aluminium plates, sheets and extrusions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management & Growth: Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with existing customers to drive long-term business growth. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster trust and collaboration with both external clients and internal teams across departments.
  • Sales Performance Ownership: Take full responsibility for achieving sales targets, including volume, margin, product mix, and market share.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts aligned with customer needs.
  • Manage metal and FX hedging strategies.
  • Ensure timely payments and adherence to commercial terms.
  • Proposal & Contract Management: Respond to RFPs, negotiate deals, and optimize sales opportunities.
  • Lead contract renewals and new agreements.
  • Conduct product and market analysis to define pricing and offer strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal to finalize contract terms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Finance, Quality, and Legal to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy: Collect and share insights on customers, markets, products, and competitors.
  • Provide strategic input on pricing and product positioning.
  • Understand customer cost structures and identify opportunities for added-value solutions.
  • Innovation & Business Development: Support mid- to long-term development projects in partnership with Customer Application Engineers to drive innovation and create new business opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Masters-level degree in Business / Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience; aerospace and sales exposure preferred.
  • Solid analytical skills; at ease with MS Excel.
  • Rigor and curiosity to perform in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; interact with different functions, build and maintain relationships with customers at operational and decision-making levels.
  • Dynamism and pugnacity to ensure project progression, internally and externally.
  • Fluent in English and French mandatory.
  • Occasional to frequent travel required.
