We are currently seeking a Experienced Technical Safety Engineer to join our team based in Paris.
Within the Safety department, you will integrate into a team of HSE Design (Safety, Risk Quantification, Environment & Health, Noise & Vibration) engineers focussed on one of the Technip Energies (T.EN) projects (oil and gas (onshore/offshore), petrochemical, energy transition, mining, pharmacy).
You will interface with the HSE Design Team and the other disciplines like Process, Piping, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation, etc.
Your principal duties will be to:
by carrying‑out the following activities and associated deliverables:
(*): All quantitative analysis (Consequence analysis, QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA, etc.), Design Explosion Loads specification and RAM are out of Safety scope of work within T.EN Paris organization; they are part of Risk Quantification activities.
All Risk Quantification, Environment & Health, Noise & Vibration activities are out of your scope.
You are expected to develop deliverables of good quality taking into account the Project constraints (e.g., contractual requirements, budget & schedule).
You can be brought to check deliverables produced by others, and to supervise some Safety engineers.
In parallel, your background must be formalised and shared by participating in facilitation of trainings and technical presentations, and in development of R&D subjects.
Within the HSE Design entity will be offered: Safety Lead, HSE Design Lead, Expert, Head of Department.
Chartered Engineer (Chemical Engineering background, Process Engineering background or Safety Engineering), with a significant experience of more than six years in safety engineering in industries of oil and gas, petrochemical, energy transition, mining and/or pharmacy. You are an easy‑going teammate ready to evolve and assert yourself in a multicultural environment. You also have the following qualities: energy proactivity, strictness, autonomy, adaptability, interpersonal skills, ability to easily communicate, analysis/problem solving. Your English is fluent. Business trips abroad are to be foreseen.
