A private yacht management company seeks a 2nd Officer for a 90m+ private yacht. The role involves direct reporting to the Chief Officer, managing navigation and bridge equipment. Candidates should have excellent tender driving skills, significant watch-keeping experience, and knowledge of ISM/ISPS. The position offers a monthly salary of EUR 6150 with a working package of 2 months on and off.

Qualifications

• OOW unlimited license required, Chief Mate Unlimited preferred.
• 2 years of yachting experience for watch-keeping.
• Knowledge of ECDIS is advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Report directly to the Chief Officer.
• Handle passage planning and bridge equipment upkeep.
• Delegate training and safety responsibilities.
• Act as the Sole Watchkeeper.

License: OOW unlimited (Chief Mate Unlimited preferred), STCW Basic, PSCRB, Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid or Medical Care, Generic ECDIS, NACOS Platinum Type specific ECDIS (would be advantageous but not essential), GMDSS GOC, Proficiency in Designated Security Duties, ENG1 or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Chief Officer on all matters.
• Navigational officer onboard and will be responsible for passage planning and upkeep of all bridge equipment and publications.
• Delegation of training and safety aspects of the vessel from the C/O.
• Sole Watchkeeper.

Skills Required

• Excellent tender driving skills as they will be sharing the responsibility of main guest tender driver with the 3rd Officer.
• Significant solo watch-keeping experience (ideally 2 years) along with 2 years yachting experience.
• Good knowledge of ISM/ ISPS.
• Good knowledge of deck work to be capable of supervising when required

Salary: EUR 6150/month

Package: 2 months on/off
